INTERACTIVE GENE ONTOLOGY REPORT

The left side of the page contains a list of the identified Gene Ontogology categories for Biological Processes and Molecular Function. The GoChart for each group can be found by clicking the proper GoChart link on the top left of the page.

Clicking on each category will bring up a detailed list of the proteins in that category. The reports are interactive. Clicking on PubMed, BoneLink and StemLink brings up appropriate references from MedLine. Clicking on PubMed brings up the reference provide by DAVID. Clicking on BoneLink searches titles and abstracts in Medline for the protein name, and skeleton, bone, or osteo. Clicking on StemLink searches titles and abstracts in MedLine for the protein name and stem cell and progenitor. Note that the MedLine search may yield poor results if the protein name is overly specific. In this case, editing the protein name in the MedLine query line frequently yields better results.
