Why did you choose Siena?
..it felt like home to me. After my first tour during my junior year of High School I knew this is the place where I wanted to be.
What was your most memorable experience at Siena?
...during a large snow storm, some of the resident building lost power. We gather a large group of people and everyone went to O'Leary's in the Sarazen Student Union to weather the storm and watch the NCAA Tournament.
Other Memorable moments:
Creating "stadium seating" outside our townhouse senior year for a barbecue during Sienafest.
Favorite class:
Software Engineering (I&II) class because it showed me how can could use my knowledge gained through my years at Siena and apply it to a real world situation.
Did the CS department prepare you?
The variety of high level classes offered by the department that I took during my years at Siena provided me with the flexibility to adapt and excel on a variety of professional challenges I have come across during my career.
Would you recommend Siena?
I would highly recommend Siena to any prospective student. You will not find another liberal art school that can help you combines a liberal arts education with technically diverse and challenging education.
What is the best thing about the CS Dept.?
...the friendly and fun atmosphere created among students and professors. This type environment allows students to excel and enjoy the classes they are taking.
Why did you choose Computer Science?
I choose Computer Science because with the rapid change in technology today I want to have the best exposure and the best opportunity to constantly learn new and exciting things.

Peter currently works for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. Previously, he worked for Logic Technology Inc. on a long term contract with GE in Schenectady.
